Himalayan Tadka is run by Karan Negi at Bapu Gram, Virbhadra, Rishikesh. We started with a simple idea: visitors to Rishikesh should be able to enjoy clean, tasty, homely vegetarian food at a fair price — and get a taste of real Garhwali cooking too.
Every morning our kitchen starts with fresh vegetables, curd and dough made in-house. Dals simmer slowly, rotis come straight off the tawa, and our masalas are ground the traditional way.
Whether you are a yatri on the Char Dham route, a yoga student, a rafting group or a local family, you will find something on our menu that feels just right.
